Our name can be abbreviated as "ROSE".
We once considered "RISE", because it isn't past tense, but it doesn't scan or compare properly. I/We/They/Them/Those and so forth are terms that are interchangeable here. There's one guy that had the basic idea, but he can't even begin to do this on his ownsome, so it's gonna be a loose community from the start.
I always wanted to get away from my semirural existence and go into IT Sales. And now, at last, I'm getting there. Many people tend to go the other way, which probably mean's they were selling junk purely for cash, rather than helpful stuff to be helpful generally. Hopefully some cash will make an appearance as well.
In a fine example of brute-force computing, the 2D logo is produced with a
Ray-Tracer set to use an orthographic camera and no lighting effects.
It could probably have been done in a much simpler way, but I happened to have a orthographic ray-tracer handy.
Here's the iris on it's own, using a tradional 3D camera.
Just to further annoy, the shapes of the shutters are infact an image map rather than a path defined in the tracer.
